In fact, it's a common problem when you are using a strong password or rarely login to your Gmail account, you may forgot Gmail Password. To recover your Gmail password, follow the steps below:
- Visit Gmail login page and click on the "Need help?" link.
- This will take you to Gmail recovery page. Select the first option, which reads "I don't know my password" by clicking on the radio button on its left.
- Enter your email address. Click Continue
- You'll be taken to a page where you'll have the option to input a past password associated with the Gmail account. If you remember any, input it. If you don't know, click on the "I don't know" button.
- On the next page, Google will want to verify your ownership of the email address by sending a verification code to your recovery phone. You can choose to receive the verification as a text message or as an automated voice call. Choose your prefer option and click "Continue."
- In the next page, enter the verification code sent to your phone and click "Continue."
- In the page that appears, input a new password and repeat it to confirm it in the next text field and then click on "Change password."
- Congratulations, you recoverd your Gmail password successfully.
- In case you don't have access to your phone number, in step 5 above, click on "I can't access my phone.". You'll then be taken to a page where you'll be asked to enter an email address through which Google can contact you. This is a requirement, meaning you'll have to create one if you don't have an alternative email.
- Answer the question about the last time you login to your account and when you created the Gmail account, then click Continue.
- Click on "Reset Password" on the appearing page. Enter your new password and confirm it and then click on "Change Password."
